Ballots have been sent to AMP's College Network radio station DJ's, Music Directors, and Program Directors so
they can choose their favorite 12 AMP 6Packs.
That's where you come in! We need your help hitting up your local stations and asking them to vote for Stereo 360!
If you don't know what an
AMP 6Pack is, it is a six-minute segment created by bands themselves. They're a new creative expression that connects bands with their fans through music, dialogue and interviews.
The 12 finalists will receive significant exposure during the as yet untitled AMP/MTV2 Fall program and the winning band will be crowned LIVE on MTV2!
To encourage college radio station
participation and in order to get their ballots returned to AMP by JUNE 10th, we are running ads in CMJ's Alert weekly magazine, and calling them personally - YOU SHOULD TOO!!
Call and/or email the stations and ask the DJ's to vote for Stereo 360!
Make sure to remind them when you call that the DJ and station can win a trip for two to
CMJ's Music Marathon in NYC October 13-16 which includes travel, accommodations, and registration. They can also win AMP 6Pack gear including mesh-caps, t-shirts, balls and AMP Energy Drink.
